Our varied extra curricular programme complements academic life for both boarders and day students. In our small school, children learn to share, be kind to others, and take on responsibility. Opportunities to participate in Swiss culture are many, through outings in the locality and beyond. The experience of being part of a French/English bilingual community gives children the confidence to practice their languages elsewhere.
Global citizenship is further encouraged by school trips led by our experienced staff from around the world. These trips are planned to complement and reinforce the academic programme and typically include China for Year 9, USA (NASA) for Year 8, the Azores (Portugal) for Year 7, Venice in Italy for Year 6, and Switzerland for Year 5 students.
Expeditions and sports events present challenges through which children discover their strengths outside the classroom. After-school clubs and private tuition options allow children to try something new as well as focus on their personal interests. It is our belief that this holistic education leads to the personal development of each child.
