We hope you are enjoying a good summer break, and are finding the time to relax and reconnect with family and friends.
We would like to congratulate our graduates who have achieved great results in their International Baccalaureate exams. Their commitment and dedication has paid off and we are thrilled that they are now able to go to universities and higher education institutes all over the world.
Following in their footsteps is going to be a big ask, so please encourage your child to get on top of their holiday homework now, to avoid any panic at the start of the new term.
In the links below, you will find important information about the return to school at the end of August. Please take the time to read everything and share the details with your child.
Please note that the school will be closed from Saturday 10th August until Monday 26th August inclusive. A limited number of staff will be available to answer urgent emails during this time.
This year, students will once again have the chance to join exciting school journeys taking them from Africa to Asia and all points in between. The trips in Term 3 are compulsory as they form part of the students' educational programmes. We will not permit any students to stay behind.
During the October half term we are offering a Mediterranean cruise for students in MYP1 and above. For students in Year 3 and upwards, there will be a programme of excursions in Switzerland and Italy.
Both of these options have very limited availability so please click the links below as soon as possible if you wish your child to participate. The cost of these trips will be provided to you later.
We are very proud to be the only international school in Switzerland to offer multiple different sporting academies. Open to middle and senior school students, successful applicants will gain sporting and life skills encompassing team work, problem solving and managing self-esteem.
This year our academies will be:
Golf Academy
Go Karting Academy
Juventus Academy
Ski Academy
Places are strictly limited and parents and students will be provided with detailed information about each of the Academies, along with expectations of the students selected to participate.
As part of our ongoing commitment to give our students the very best chance of getting into top universities and colleges, we are delighted to announce a new partnership with the UK's top education consultancy, Bonas MacFarlane.
Starting in MYP3, students will receive specialist coaching and support to make the right subject and programme choices, enabling them to achieve their academic goals. You can read more about the programme below.
Our extensive programme of Extra-Curricular Activities will continue throughout the coming School Year. These clubs range from mountain biking to music, from baking to boxing. Most students will choose at least two each term. Attendance is compulsory, including for day students. Students will be given the opportunity to sign up at the start of term.
Please read the handbooks thoroughly as they include information concerning school life, academic programmes, Extra-Curricular Activities and communication with parents.
Activities, excursions, and exam dates are updated throughout the year on the school calendar. Please check it often for any changes.
