Winter Camps

From skiing on snow-covered slopes to discovering life in the heart of the Swiss Alps, La Garenne Winter Camps offer a one-of-a-kind experience for children aged 5 to 14. Located in the beautiful ski resort village of Villars-sur-Ollon, our campus is perfectly placed for a true ski-in, ski-out adventure.

Each Camp participant can choose between full-day skiing or a balanced programme that combines time on the slopes with academic lessons and other engaging activities. Whether you are here to improve your technique or simply enjoy winter fun with friends, there is something for everyone.

Our sunny Alpine campus sits at 1,300 metres, surrounded by spectacular peaks including Mont Blanc. From here, you can look out over the Rhone Valley and towards the lakeside towns of Montreux, Lausanne, and Geneva.

La Garenne is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, where students feel safe, supported, and part of an international family. With a staff-to-student ratio of 1:2, your experience is both personal and unforgettable. Our qualified instructors and team members ensure every day is filled with learning, fun, and memorable moments, on and off the slopes.

Our Super Ski Programme includes five full-day ski sessions per week, giving you the chance to make the most of every day on the slopes. The minimum stay is one week, and you can combine multiple sessions for a longer experience.

Boarding students stay on campus all week, including weekends, while day students join the programme Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00.

Languages + Ski Programme offers a balanced approach to learning and adventure. Camp participants take intensive English or French lessons in the morning and learn to ski in the afternoon four days a week. As a bonus, the fifth day is dedicated to a full day of skiing.
Language lessons are taught in small groups by our experienced teachers, with students placed according to ability. Whether you are starting from scratch or improving existing skills, this is a great way to make fast progress in a supportive environment.
Afternoons are spent on the slopes in ability-based ski groups, guided by our seasoned instructors. Weekends are flexible: join in with regular school activities or head out for more time on the snow.
The minimum stay is two weeks, and you can extend your experience to four, six, eight, or even ten weeks. Day students attend from Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, while boarders stay on campus full-time.

The Integration Programme is ideal for students who want to experience life at La Garenne before committing to a full academic year. It offers a true taste of school life, fully integrated into the Academic Programme and daily school timetable.

Students follow regular classes alongside their peers and enjoy at least two ski sessions per week as part of the winter experience. This is a great way to get to know the community, explore the surroundings, and see what it is like to live and learn in our Alpine boarding environment.

The minimum stay is two weeks, and the Integration Programme can be combined with other winter options for a longer stay. Boarders stay on campus full-time, while day students attend from Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00.
