"Our two children, Betinho and Thaïs went through La Garenne. This is a choice that my wife and I will never regret.
Betinho was 8 when he came to La Garenne from Brazil, speaking only Portuguese. In 3 months he was able to communicate in French and, 3 months later, he was pretty good at English too. He then went to College where he graduated with six A levels. Our daughter Thaïs went to La Garenne from the age of 3 to the age of 12. She learned so much at La Garenne, not only on the academic side, prompting her to be the best in her new school, but also on the social, sociability, cultural, character building and sportive sides.
Our nephew Tanguy is also a La Garenne graduate - he succeeded brilliantly at school and went on to study at the prestigious EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne) while his sister, Célia, another La Garenne graduate, also succeeded in following her chosen path of studies.
La Garenne applies so well the principle of education of "structure and unconditional affection" for our children. Its size and family atmosphere enable the school to give personal attention to each child. Meanwhile, children also learn that there are rules to play by in society. We witnessed the seamless transition from Mr. & Mrs. Méan senior to the new generation: Greg and his wife have done a super job in taking La Garenne to its next level."
With our gratitude,
Prof. & Mrs. Didier Vasoncelos-Miranda-Marlier
