Debates and Drawing!
Year 5 have been working hard again this week and taken on some new challenges! They continued to help out in the farm, until the animals left for their new winter homes. We look forward to welcoming them back in the spring!
During IPC, the students planned, rehearsed and argued their points of view surrounding a topical news issue - a debate about whether children should be encouraged to take part in e-sports. Both sides argued their points clearly and concisely, however most students felt that it would be best to take part in e-sports when they were older! A very mature approach!
In Maths, the students have been learning how to translate shapes on 1, 2 and 4 quadrant coordinate grids! They have shown resilience when extra concentration and brain power were needed to comprehend the trickier aspects of this topic. Well done!
