Reception Class visit the Train Station

The Reception Class have a new student!

His name is Theo Bear and he arrived from Norway last week and will stay with us for the rest of the term. He is really interested in transport and likes to travel and see new places so we decided to take him on a little train trip to Barboleuse. Firstly we had to go to the train station to buy him a ticket and whilst we were there we spoke to the Station Master about how trains and train stations work and what different jobs people do at the train station. It was great! Then we took Theo on the train to Barboleuse where we had delicious cake and played on the playground.

Theo was very well behaved but we did have to rescue him after we left him behind in the toilets at the cafe! Keep looking out for future posts about Theo’s adventures with the Reception children at La Garenne!
