Year 6
Thank you to Year 6 for the inspirational assembly this week which was all about being resilient.
Year 6 have been learning all about the human body. They have been revising the names and function of different parts of the body in preparation to start learning all about the circulation system.
In IPC Year 6 have been learning all about the Mayas. They had a headdress competition (with delicious prizes!) and made amazing information posters all about Maya cities.
Year 6 have been learning all about recounts in literacy. They have studied recounts of traditional Mayan stories, created story maps as well as writing their own personal recounts told through the eyes of one of the `Hero Twins`.
