The first week back is going well and the students have been very lucky with the good weather and fresh snow. It has been a very busy week and the students have not had a minute to stop so far with the activities, lessons, sports and a couple of birthdays as well! We are happy to welcome the new house parents to the La Garenne building, Alex and Sara are enjoying their start to the year and I am sure they will adapt quickly to boarding school life!

This week we had our first LG's Got Talent. A fantastic evening was had by all! There were comedy acts, singing, dancing and even films on talents such as pool tricks!

Yesterday we had our yearly Masterchef competition. The children made some dishes that were amazing. A great time was had by all!

Daria is a 10 year old student. This is her first year at La Garenne and she is a strong academic student. She is very passionate about chess and competes weekly against very high ranked players. Just last week, she came first when playing in a competition for the under 12 students. She continues to apply herself in all she does whether it be her chess or school life! We hope she continues to enjoy herself, well done Daria!

Next week we will be holding our Masterchef competition. The staff and students will prepare three different dishes, each will be judged at the end of the competition. We will update more photos on the day!
